Duration: Six (6) weeks
COST: US$250.00
COURSE OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Airport Operations Health and Safety course. This program has been specially designed to prepare employees and the aerodrome for the build-up of traffic post-COVID-19. The use of airside areas has been drastically reduced as a result of the pandemic. This has minimized the readiness of the airside infrastructure, facilities, equipment and systems for full operation. Therefore, the staff providing airside services must be re-trained, and adhere to health/safety protocols for the resumption of operations post-COVID-19. This course will examine the potential safety impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on airside movement and non-movement areas, security concerns pertaining to the breaches in COVID-19 protocols affecting the airport community, and the assessments required prior to and after resuming operations.
